The Deputy National Commissioner responsible for Crime Detection, Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya is conducting oversight visits during #SaferFestiveSeason operations in the Garden Route District. He engaged with law enforcement officers as well as Community In Blue volunteers deployed at beaches.
Lieutenant General Sibiya also visited a Mobile Community Service Centre at White Location, Knysna where he addressed officers deployed before they embarked on crime combatting operations in crime infested areas. He once again emphasised the importance of operational readiness and enhanced visibility to ensure that visitors and communities are and feel safe during the festive period.
