We are proud of our partnership with SAPS in helping to strengthen the safety of our neighbourhoods. We attended a combined operation held on Friday in Durbanville with various roleplayers.
The operation was conducted in Aurora and Racecourse where foot patrols were executed during the convoys, focusing on problematic greenbelts and parks. During the Vehicle Check Point (VCP), which was held on Jip De Jager Road, 160 vehicles were stopped with 230 occupants. Law Enforcement greatly assisted us during the VCP and also issued 22 fines to the value of R30 800 for unlicensed drivers and motor vehicles.
320 Pamphlets for festive season safety and security tips around your home were also distributed to the drivers. Thereafter we redeployed to the identified hotspots around the clubs in the CBD to establish a high visibility presence to combat street robberies and theft out of motor vehicles. A huge thank you to everyone who assisted us during the operation as well as throughout the year!
