Last night, Durban Metro Police Service Trio Crime Unit, alongside various specialized teams, conducted a successful joint operation at Westville Prison. The operation focused on Medium B prisoners and resulted in the confiscation of numerous illegal and illicit items.
Items seized during the operation included:
●Sim cards
●Cellphones
●Cellphone chargers
●Cash money
●Sharpened objects
●Appliances
●Drugs
●Alcohol
These items were handed over to Correctional Services for further processing.
