Urgent assistance needed to locate 37-year-old deaf-mute man in Zaaiplaas District

Police request urgent assistance to find a 37-year-old male who went missing from his residence at Masoying village on Saturday 14 December 2024.

Amos Ntswane, who is reportedly deaf and mute, is alleged to have left his home to herd cattle at a grazing field however he never returned home. His mother went to check on him the next day on Sunday 15 December 2024 at about 05:00. Unfortunately, she discovered that the cattle were not in the kraal and he was nowhere to be found.

Efforts to locate Amos Ntswane at relatives and surrounding areas were unsuccessful. The clothes he was wearing during his disappearance are not known.

Anyone with information that can assist in locating the missing man is urged to contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Thelma Mokoena on 082 318 9921 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or nearest police station or submit information through the MySAPSApp.

Police investigations are continuing.
