Teamwork between our Fidelity Guarding and Fidelity SIU teams results in an arrest and recovery.
Yesterday morning about 09:34 am, a request came through on a KZN crime group regarding a white Hilux with false information that was parked at Westwood Mall rooftop parking.
Members from Provincial SAPS as well as many security partners arrived on the scene and checked the vehicle which was positive on a Pinetown Case. Fidelity Guarding for the mall began to track down the driver of the vehicle via the on-site control room and found him to be trying to escape through the lower-level parking towards the roadside.
Tactical teams gave chase and shortly after the suspect was detained with a firearm in his possession. He was handed over to SAPS.
