A 2.1 meter Black Mamba was captured in Hazelmere Dam in Hazelmere – KZN.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance from a member of the public at approximately 11:56. RUSA Area Manager, Nkosinathi Ndaba was dispatched and on arrival located the highly venomous reptile in a picnic area. The Officer captured and relocated the snake without incident.
This is the third Black Mamba captured by Ndaba this week.
