A 2.2-meter Black Mamba was captured on a property on Jasmine Road in Riyadh – KZN today (Monday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) Area Manager Nkosinathi Ndaba was dispatched to the premises after the highly venomous reptile was discovered in a garage. On arrival, the RUSA Member located the snake wrapped around the motor of a disused fridge. He captured the snake without incident.
The Black Mamba will be handed over to a reptile park for release.
