Floods in KZN – Duma gets reports from HoDs and accelerates interventions.
SABC News 404: Communities in KZN including community development activist Mdititi Ntombela in Abaqulusi have been reporting directly to MEC for Transport and Human Settlements, Siboniso Duma.
This follows floods that destroyed houses leaving more than 11 people dead. This also includes bridges and roads that have been washed away in some Municipalities.
Heads of both Departments are moving with speed after being given a mandate by Duma to accelerate interventions.
