Gift of the Givers team members, Juma and Rashid they were en route to a Soup Kitchen in Kimberly, in the Northern Cape when they witnessed a collision right in front of them.
A car had overturned, trapping a woman inside. True to Gift of the Givers motto,”Best among people are those who serve mankind” they sprang into action with Juma breaking the car windows as they both helped the woman to safety and called the police.
The South African Police Services #SAPS arrived promptly, and our team handed over the situation to them and the paramedics.
The SAPS expressed gratitude for their quick thinking and selfless actions.
