A man in his sixties fought off a potential robbery suspect attempting to gain entry onto his property.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to Marula Circle in Trenance Park – KZN after receiving a call for assistance from the victim’s neighbours.
On arrival, the homeowner informed Reaction Officers and Police that a lone suspect attempted to gain entry into his yard.
The man grabbed a plastic pipe and whipped the suspect as he was in the process of climbing over a wire fence. The male thereafter fled into a dense bush at the rear of the
property.
The suspect is believed to be sought for a spate of robberies including a home invasion where he overpowered an 84 year old granny and stole a flat screen tv.
