About six hours after a 76-year-old woman lost her life in a crash on Old Howick Road, another collision occurred on the same stretch of tarmac.
Just before 2pm today, Mi7 National Group’s Emergency Medical Services was dispatched to the area after reports of a crash. They found that a light delivery vehicle rear-ended a car.
It is believed the driver of the car slowed down due to pieces of the roadway having been removed when the collision occurred.
Both drivers were left with minor injuries and one was taken to hospital for further treatment.
