Stray cows impounded in Brindhaven

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa we called out to Brindhaven – KZN to assist in capturing four stray cows on Litchi Crescent.

On arrival, Reaction Officers met with a resident and two employees off the Midlands Pound. They managed to corner three female cows and one male calf on a panhandle driveway. One of the cows managed to force through a barricade and fled onto the road.

RUSA Members assisted in loading the remaining three onto a trailer before pursuing and capturing the fourth animal on Todd Street. According to one resident, the cows were loitering in the area from December 2024. They attempted locating the herdsman without success.

They thereafter made contact with an animal pound situated in Hillcrest – KZN to capture and impound the strays.
