Three copper theft suspects arrested in Newlands

At approximately 06:00 today, SCP Security officers witnessed three male suspects attempting to steal copper cables at the corner of 4th Street and Alberts Road, Newlands.

Upon the arrival of backup, the suspects attempted to flee in different directions. However, with quick response and swift action, all three suspects were caught.

A knife was also found on one of the suspects.

Sophiatown SAPS attended to the suspects.
