Three foreign vehicles impounded in the Boksburg area

On Thursday 09 January 2025, between the hours of 07:00 and 10:00 the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Overloads Unit Officers, impounded three (3) foreign vehicles, including a motorcycle in the Boksburg area.

Officers conducted a sting operation with a stern focus on noncompliant foreign motor vehicles and while patrolling within the area, they managed to spot and stop three (3) vehicles, including a motorcycle with foreign registration plates, as there should be a legal requirement to operate such vehicles within the borders of the country.

All vehicles were impounded to Boksburg Pounds for safekeeping.
