While conducting information gathering in Tembisa, the Gauteng Traffic Police SLEU and EMPD CLU were stopped by a man who told the officials about a male suspect who assaulted him with a firearm.
The officers managed to identify the suspect following the complainant informing the officers about the location and description of the suspect.
The officials proceeded to the said address and managed to spot the suspect to which he directed the officers to his place of residence in Enxuweni where the firearm was found.
The suspect was taken to Tembisa south SAPS for detention.
