The police in Bushbuckridge are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Tumelo Malope (35), who has been missing since 06 February 2025.
According to information received, on 06 February 2025 at about 15:00 , Tumelo told his female friend that he was going on a business trip to the Kingdom of Eswatini but did not indicate the people he was traveling with.
It is further reported that he called his female friend on the same day at about 18:00, but due to poor network, the communication between them was somehow disturbed, and that was the last time she heard from him.
On 16 February 2025, his family reported the matter to the Police and a missing person’s file was opened. The type of clothing that he was wearing during his disappearance is unknown.
Police therefore urge anyone with information that may assist in finding him to contact the Bushbuckridge SAPS on 082 448 9288/072 638 0401 or contact the Investigation officer, Detective Warrant Officer Nicole Setwane on 079 391 9384.
