KZN VIP Response Officers swiftly responded to a theft incident that occurred at Keybridge Place earlier today. At approximately 12:41 PM, the KZN VIP Control Centre received an urgent call from a resident of Towerbridge, who reported that an individual, described as a male suspect, had jumped into a neighbor’s property and stolen several items.
Upon arrival at the scene, KZN VIP Response Officers made contact with the homeowner, who confirmed that the suspect, dressed in a black shirt, had stolen three chairs before fleeing the property towards Phoenix Highway, just past Clayfield Drive.
In response, KZN VIP Response Officers immediately launched a search for the suspect. Their efforts led them to the suspect on Towerbridge, where a foot chase ensued. Within minutes, the suspect was apprehended, and the stolen chairs were recovered on Phoenix Highway.
The complainant was called to the scene and positively identified the suspect.
South African Police Services (SAPS) have been dispatched and are currently handling the matter.
