Suspect apprehended for possession of an unlicensed firearm in Germiston

While conducting a stop-and-search operation in and around Germiston, members of the SAPS and Gauteng Traffic Wardens searched a suspicious male suspect.

During the search, officers discovered a firearm in his possession, loaded with 13 rounds of live ammunition and one magazine, the suspect failed to produce a valid firearm license.

The suspect was apprehended for possession of an unlicensed firearm, possession of live ammunition and Resisting arrest.
