A suspect arrested by Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) in Brindhaven – Kwazulu Natal was released after the homeowner declined to register a criminal case.
Reaction Officers were informed of a suspect gaining entry into a residential property.
He was seen removing valuables from the premises. Officers converged on the area and blocked off all entrances and exits and after a brief search apprehended the suspect.
Stolen items were recovered in his possession. When interviewed, the suspect blamed an indian male named Denzil for orchestrating housebreakings in Brindhaven – KZN.
Reacion Officers had to forcefully carry the suspect out of the bush after he refused to walk.
The suspect was later released after the homeowner opted not to register a case explaining that the value of stolen items were minimal.
