Whilst conducting random stops and searches at Golden Highway and Union in Eldorado Park.
JMPD Region G operations officers stopped a vehicle with four male occupants. The males fled on foot and a chase ensued, leading to one male being apprehended.
The officers searched the suspects vehicle and recovered an unlicensed firearm with different registration number plates.
Whilst inspecting the vehicle, they discovered that the number plate on the vehicle was false.
