While conducting crime prevention duties, including stop-and-search operations and roadblocks around Heidelberg, members of the Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (Southern Corridor), in collaboration with SAPS, arrested five suspects for various offenses.
– One male suspect was found in possession of drugs during a personal search and was arrested.
– SAPS officers stopped a vehicle and discovered that the driver, was consuming alcohol while driving. He was arrested on the spot.
-During a routine patrol, officers proceeded to an address where a male suspect was searched. Drugs were found in his bedroom, leading to his arrest.
-Another African male was stopped during a stop-and-search operation. A search revealed drugs in his possession, and he was taken into custody.
-A vehicle search uncovered a male passenger in possession of drugs.
