Earlier today Ensure Security were alerted by our dedicated teams on Florida Road of a theft of motor vehicle in progress.
Tactical Intervention Units responded and on arrival it was ascertained that a male motorist had parked his car on the roadside and on his return had noted a suspect attempting to steal it.
The suspect attempted to flee and the man gave chase, apprehending him with the assistance of the Florida Road UIP teams.
The suspect was handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
