Four suspects arrested for business robbery

Four suspects aged between 27 and 39 have been arrested for business robbery in Tumahole.

It is alleged that on Wednesday, 12 March 2025 at about 12:00, four unknown African males armed with a firearm entered one of the shops in Lusaka Section and demanded cash. The suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and a cellphone and fled the scene in a white VW Polo sedan.

The vehicle was traced and spotted on the R42 Barrage road, and upon searching the vehicle, the police confiscated a cellphone, one pallet gun, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The four suspects are expected to appear before the Parys Magistrates’ Court soon on charges of business robbery.
