A white Chevrolet Utility bakkie that was hijacked on a link road between Old & New Phase in Trenance Park – KZN was recovered abandoned in KwaMashu – KZN a short while ago (Saturday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 16:27 after five (5) suspects in a blue Hyundai i10 (registration unknown) hijacked the bakkie and sped off in the direction of Inanda – KZN. Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and during the search were informed that the vehicle was fitted with a tracking device.
The unit was activated by Tracker SA and the vehicle was recovered shortly thereafter by their Operations Team in KwaMashu – KZN.
