Taxi Driver & Passenger Shot Dead after vehicle reported stolen by owner in KZN.
Members of Empire Protection Service, were activated by Cartrack_SA for a hijacked Toyota Quantum (White) pinging in Masingana Road in Phase 6, Waterloo – KZN.
Members were dispatched and on arrival, the white Toyota Quantum was located lying on its side. The driver a bravo male, was found to be shot and entrapped in the vehicle, unfortunately he was declared deceased on scene and had to be extracted by Fire and Rescue Services.
A body of a second bravo male was located approximately 50 meters up the road. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds and also unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The passenger is believed to be a suspect in the case. The motive for the murders has not been established, the road has been cordoned off as members of the South African Police Service investigate the double murder and hijacking.
