At approximately 19:20, KZN VIP Control Centre received multiple reports of a vehicle on fire in Florapalm, Phoenix In response, KZN VIP Response officers and KZN VIP Medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
KZN VIP Response officers made contact with members of the public, who reported that a vehicle parked in a garage had caught fire. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, although one individual was assessed by KZN VIP medics as a precautionary measure.
The circumstances leading up to the fire remain unconfirmed at this time. However, we extend our gratitude to the local fire department for their swift response and effective containment of the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring properties.
