After a challenging start to the year, the highly anticipated NTT Tzaneen Rally is set to rev up on June 27-28. The event, a staple in the South African National Rally Championship, was initially postponed in May due to unprecedented rainfall, which made the stages too wet to proceed. This follows last year’s cancellation due to extreme veld fires that posed a significant fire risk to the Merensky plantations.
“We’re thrilled to see the event return this year, with organizers and sponsors working tirelessly to ensure a safe and successful rally,” said the event organizers.
The NTT Tzaneen Rally has a rich history, dating back to 1971, and has become a favourite among fans and rally teams. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better, with increased community involvement and more opportunities for sponsors. Top drivers and co-drivers are set to compete in the stunning Merensky forests.
