The race will begin at 6am in Prospecton Road, near the Old Durban Airport and end at People’s Park.
Runners will go along the M4 south, onto Margaret Mncadi Avenue, Shepstone Road, Mahatma Gandhi, Sylvester Ntuli, SunCoast Boulevard, Athlone Drive, M4 north, Masabalala Yengwa, Battery Beach and finish at People’s Park.
The 42.2km marathon serves as a qualifier race for the Comrades Marathon, with a qualifying cut off time.
