Operation Vala Umgodi continues to yield positive results, and this time around, members nabbed 04 suspects, aged between 24 and 36 during the time when they conducted a disruptive operation on Monday, 12 May 2025 at Borehill in Barberton area in Mpumalanga.
The members from the proactive team arrested the suspects during operation Vala Umgodi.
Police investigators are working in collaboration with officials from the Department of Home Affairs to ascertain the status of the arrested suspects.
The suspects are expected to appear at the Barberton Magistrate’s Court on 14 May 2025.
The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the SAPS in Mpumalanga, Major General (Dr) Zeph Mkhwanazi, is impressed by the impact that Operation Vala Umgodi is making and encouraged members to continue with the good work.
