A Monitor Lizard was captured on a property on Riverview Road in Ottawa – KZN a short while ago (Saturday).
A resident contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for assistance after they spotted the reptile in their yard. On arrival, Reaction Officers captured the Monitor Lizard without incident.
It will be handed over to the Center for Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) for examination and release.
