A 40-year-old man was fatally injured after he was run over by a minibus taxi on J.G. Champion Drive in Phoenix – KZN today (Monday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) members were called out to the scene by a passing motorist. On arrival, it was alleged that the pedestrian suffered a seizure and collapsed onto the road. He was then run over by white Toyota Quantum. The pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries and demised on scene.
His identity has been established.
