The South African Police Service in Bethlehem is appealing to the public for assistance in locating 20-year-old Lindie Scheepers who went missing on the evening of Tuesday, 27 May 2025, at approximately 18:00.
According to the report received, she was last seen standing alone in the yard of her residence in Morelig in Bethlehem. Shortly thereafter, the family experienced a power outage and proceeded to their bedrooms. A few minutes later, barking dogs prompted a family member to investigate outside, but no unusual activity was found. It was then discovered that the young woman was missing.
At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing black pants and a black top. Immediate efforts by local officers, including members from Bethlehem police, were unsuccessful in locating her.
