A 28 year old man was killed after he was run over on Old Main Road in Ottawa – KZN during the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 01:53 and found that the pedestrian had suffered life threatening injuries & demised on scene. His friend informed Reaction Officers that they were consuming alcohol together at a tavern. The two (2) decided to return to their home in Cornubia – KZN. The deceased was walking in the centre of the road when he was run over by an unknown vehicle which failed to stop.
