On the 23 May 2025, the Durban Metro Police Drug Team, working in collaboration with Counter Narcotics KZN Crime Intelligence, executed an intelligence-driven operation in the Phoenix area targeting a known drug dealer.
A search warrant was obtained from the Verulam Magistrates Court and successfully executed at the suspect’s premises. During the operation, a male suspect was arrested for dealing and possession of crack cocaine, cocaine, and mandrax.
Seized Exhibits:
1. 846 pieces of crack cocaine
2. 7 mandrax tablets
3. 7 containers of pure cocaine
Estimated Street Value: R87,400.00
The suspect is currently in police custody and will appear in court soon.
