Earlier this afternoon our Ubuntu Urban Regeneration Teams noticed a suspect stealing a battery from a motor vehicle parked in Charlotte Maxeke Street in the Durban Central Business District.
A call for assistance was made and tactical response teams immediately responded.
The man as well as the suspect who he sold the stolen battery to, was successfully apperehended and handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
