A vehicle was gutted in a fire on Queen Nandi Drive in Quarry Heights – KZN this afternoon (Friday).
A motorist contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 17:31 requesting assistance. According to the caller the fire was spreading rapidly through the vehicle and they believed that a passenger was trapped in the car.
Reaction Officers and RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and on arrival found Fighter Fighters battling the blaze. The driver confirmed that he was the only occupant in the Renault Triber when it burst into flames.
The vehicle was completely wrecked.
