Members of SAPS Roodepoort Detectives, Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (Northern Corridor), and Tshenolo P.I arrested a wanted suspect linked to a 2024 murder case following information received from an unregistered source.
The suspect was wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of a male victim in Roodepoort around September 2024, after which he fled and had been on the run since.
Acting on the tip-off, officers traced the suspect to Lawley Road, Westcliff, where he was found hiding inside a storage room. During interrogation, the suspect led the officers to the location where he had hidden the firearm used during the commission of the crime. A revolver was recovered and seized.
