Two stolen vehicles were successfully recovered today in the KwaMashu area thanks to a coordinated effort between KZN VIP Security, Marshall Security, SAPS K9 Units, and dedicated tracking agents.
The first recovery involved a white Toyota Starlet, stolen from the Umbilo area. The vehicle was actively tracked as it moved through the Bridge City vicinity. Thanks to real time tracking and rapid coordination, it was located and recovered within a complex near Bridge City Mall.
Shortly thereafter, a second vehicle a white Kia K2700 bakkie was stolen from 9th Avenue in Morningside, Durban. This vehicle was tracked to D-Section, KwaMashu, where it was swiftly recovered by teams from Marshall Security, KZN VIP Security, and tracking personnel.
In both cases, the victims chose not to open formal SAPS cases, and the vehicles were handed back to their rightful owners. However, we urge all victims of vehicle theft to open criminal cases to allow law enforcement to conduct proper investigations and bring those responsible to justice.
A big well done to everyone involved in these swift recoveries!
