Limpopo Provincial Commissioner condemns the killing of a man in Musina, orders Police to launch a search for the suspects

The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has ordered Musina Detective team to use all their available resources to hunt down the suspect(s) responsible for fatally wounding a male person in a shooting incident on Friday 20 June 2025 at about 02:00 near KFC in Musina town.

According to the information received, the deceased was sitting inside the vehicle a sliver Haval-Jolion while his female companion went to collect an order in the chicken outlet when suddenly, unknown male suspects in a white VW Polo with unknown registrations, allegedly started firing several shots in the direction of the victim and sped off.

The police were notified about the shooting incident. On their arrival at the scene, a male victim was found with gunshot wounds. He was certified dead on the scene by Emergency Medical Services personnel.

The identity of the deceased, who is known and from Musina Extension 9 will be released in due course as part of the ongoing investigation.

The motive behind the senseless killing is not yet known and the ongoing investigations continue.
