A 24 year old South African National was found with counterfeit R200 notes to the value of R1800 this afternoon (Saturday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was called out to the store on Wick Street in the Verulam CBD – KZN when the man attempted to pay for his groceries with the fake notes. When interviewed, the man could not offer an explanation for being in possession of the counterfeit money.
Reaction Officers arrested the Ethekweni – KZN resident & handed him over to the South African Police Services (SAPS).
