Just after 10h00am, members of KZN VIP Security were alerted to a reports of theft in progress by a client, immediately Response Teams were dispatched.
Upon arrival, KZNVIP Officers were advised that two (2) indian males had entered a tuck shop and stolen an undisclosed amount of items before fleeing in the direction of Sledgegrove.
After a clear description was provided, KZNVIP Officers started patrolling the area and moments later spotted and apprehended the suspect. The complainant positively identified the suspect.
The second suspect managed to evade arrest. Saps Phoenix were informed of the incident and 1 suspect was handed over for processing.
