The Western Cape police remain committed to fighting crime in our communities by ensuring that drugs are kept off our streets, as they are a primary source of criminal activity.
On Friday 25 July 2025, at approximately 05:00, members attached to Grassy Park SAPS arrested a 61-year-old male in the Pumlani Village area. The arrest followed after information was received about drugs being kept at the suspect’s house. The members confiscated a quantity of 1062 Mandrax tablets valued at R43 400-00.
The suspect will appear in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on the mentioned charge once he has been charged.
