An intelligence-led operation by police officers who are members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Organised Crime Unit (Narcotics) has resulted in the arrest of a man who is a foreign national and a local woman after they were found to be dealing in drugs.
On Monday, 28 July 2025, police executed search warrants at two residential apartments, one on Flanethorn Drive in Westville and the other at an estate in Hillcrest.
During the raid, police found ecstasy tablets, ecstasy powder, heroin capsules, cocaine bags and crystal meth, worth an estimated street value of over R500 000.
