Investigation underway after livestock theft at Ga-Chuene

The Stock Theft Unit in Lebowakgomo has initiated a manhunt for suspects involved in the theft of livestock at Ga-Chuene Maratapelo, Lebowakgomo policing area.

The incident took place between the afternoon of 07 July and the morning of 08 July 2025.

It is alleged that in the morning of 08 July 2025, when the complainant opened the kraal’s gate he noticed that the fence has been cut and the gate had been broken and three livestock (goats) were stolen.

They are all valued at R8200-00. The livestock belongs to the complainant’s younger brother.

Police were notified about the incident, and a case was registered.

The police urge anyone with information that may assist in apprehending the suspects to contact Lebowakgomo Stock Theft Unit Warrant Officer Lenkwane Rangwato at 082 319 9519, Crime Stop number 08600 10111, the nearest police station, or share information on the MySAPS App.

Police investigations are ongoing.
