Vigilant members of Muizenberg SAPS arrested a suspect when she was caught with drugs in her possession on Monday morning, 21 July 2025.
The members were busy with patrols in St Patrick Avenue, Sea Wind when they noticed a female walking in the road who ran into a yard in Overcome Heights when she saw the police vehicle approaching. The members chased after the female and apprehended her. They discovered 68 packets containing crystal meth, 68 packets containing dagga, 28 dagga cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash in the bag she was carrying. She was subsequently arrested and charged for the possession of drugs.
The suspect will appear in the Muizenberg Magistrates’ court on Tuesday, 22 July 2025.
