On Wednesday, 02 July 2025 at around 08:22, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Northern Region Task Team Officers recovered two(2) reported stolen vehicles in the Midrand area.
While conducting crime prevention, Officers received information from a tracking company about a red VW and a silver Audi, which were stolen during a house robbery in President Park and a case was opened at Midrand Police Station.
Officers immediately started searching for the vehicles with the help of the GPS coordinates, which led them to Modderfontein road in an open veld, where the vehicles were found.
No arrests have been made.
