The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) Germiston North Precinct Officers, impounded seven (7) unroadworthy minibus taxis, during a public transport operation.
Officers stopped and impounded six (6) Toyota Hi-Ace minibus taxis in a bad condition, at the corner of Nicol and Bradford, in Bedfordview area. Later in the day,one (1) unroadworthy Toyota Hi-Ace minibus taxi, was discontinued and seized, in Primrose area at the corner of Johann Rissik and Shamrock where
All the confiscated taxis, were taken to the Alberton and Boksburg EMPD pound, for safekeeping.
