Medico Legal Mortuary Confirms Severed Hands Next to the Road To Be Props: Phoenix – KZN

Two (2) severed hands recovered by a newspaper distributor in Trenance Park – KZN has been confirmed by the Medico Legal Laboratory in Phoenix – KZN to be props.

The hands found on Oregan Street earlier today (Wednesday) were wrapped in a blood stained white cloth. Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) was called to the scene & cordoned off the area and handed over to the South African Police Services (SAPS) from Verulam – KZN.

SAPS Detectives & Uniformed Policemen in attendance conducted an investigation & the hands were eventually transported by Police to the Ethekwini District Medico Legal Mortuary who confirmed that the realistic appearing limbs were made of rubber.
