Motorcycle Reportedly Stolen in Chatsworth Recovered Through Mi7 Surveillance Net in PMB

Earlier this week, the Mi7 Surveillance Net – a system of cameras equipped with Automatic Number Plate Recognition software and covering more than 130 locations in the Midlands – flagged a motorcycle reportedly stolen as per a case opened with Chatsworth police.

The details of the vehicle were noted by Control Room Operators who alerted Armed Response teams on the ground to be on the lookout.

Yesterday morning, while on regular patrols, a Mi7 Armed Response officer spotted the vehicle on Hyslop Road. It was branded for use as a popular food delivery service. The rider was intercepted.

According to him, he had purchased the vehicle and did not know it had been stolen.

The matter was handed over to the police for further investigation.
