Motorist assisted after suffering an epileptic seizure

Time: Approximately 22:15

Last night, PVES was contacted by Sinoville SAPS and CPF to assist with a 53-year-old male found unresponsive outside his vehicle.

The patient, a known epileptic, appeared to have suffered a seizure. He was breathing on his own but unresponsive to verbal commands, with convulsed hands and frothing at the mouth.
Oxygen was administered and an IV drip established. The patient was stabilized and transported by GPG Ambulance to Tshwane District Hospital for further care.
